Auditions for the upcoming Hayden Theater Lenten and spring productions will be held today and tomorrow after school in Wildcat Hall. All students are welcome to audition.

 

A daily Chaplet of Divine Mercy will start today after school at 3:10 in the Chapel and will continue throughout Lent for all those interested!

 

Congratulations to the following Hayden students on a successful Regional History Day competition:

        * Rhen Calhoun and Hope Mattivi:  first place in group exhibit

        * Marisa Tapley:  second place individual exhibit

        * Caroline Vollrath:  second place in the essay category

        * Christa Nioce, Marcel Pryor, Ann Stegman, and Emma Teply:  second place in group performance

        * Olivia Schmitz:  third place individual performance.”

 

Tonight there will be an information meeting about the upcoming cheer team tryouts.  The meeting will begin at 7pm in the library. Anyone interested in trying out is welcome and encouraged to come!

 

Friday March 6th is National Speech and Debate Education Day, which celebrates teachers, coaches, and students that participate in speech and debate activities. Be sure to check out our slideshow during lunch this week! Every summer the National Speech and Debate Association holds its national tournament. Did you know that Hayden is currently in its longest streak of sending students to nationals? Qualifying students each consecutive year since 2015?
