Tickets for the Hayden Theater production of “Bye Bye Birdie” are on sale at all lunches today. Tickets are $15 for adults and $7.50 for children under 12 and Hayden students. Thursday will be the last day you can buy them at school and receive the discount.

Congratulations to our State Scholars Bowl Team for their 3rd place finish! Captained by Thomas Doyle, team members James Gillin, Nick Quaney, Graidon Nichol, Cole Scheer, and alternate Nicole DeAgostino went 4-3 in preliminary play to advance to the Championship Rounds where they beat Towanda Circle for 3rd place! Great job defending last year’s title!

 

Congratulations to our Forensics team on a stellar weekend of competition at T-High. On Friday evening Marcel Pryor and Sean McConnell competed in Student Congress, Marcel placed 1st and Sean placed 2nd. On Saturday we had 8 events break into finals. Ann Stegman and Emma Tepley placed 2nd in Duo which qualifies them to state. Ann Stegman placed 2nd in Dramatic Interp, Marcel Pryor placed 1st in Oration and 5th in impromptu, Christa Nioce placed 6th in Humorous Interp, Josie Cummings placed 6th in prose, and Ava Lemon placed 5th in informative and 2nd in impromptu which qualifies her to state.

 

Boys interested in golf will have a meeting tomorrow after school in the cafeteria.
