Congratulations to the following students on their individual math finishes at Emporia State University Math Day last week: Yuji Kwon earned 6th out of 68 students in the Algebra Individual contest and Luke Kramer earned 11th out of 68. Peter An earned 11th out of 66 in the Geometry Individual contest and Gary Wang earned 18th out of 68. Great Job Wildcats!!
Turkey Bowl Penny War starts today and runs through the 15th. Help raise money for Thanksgiving Dinners for local parish families. Each penny is worth one point and counts “positively” toward a community’s point total; all other coins or dollars count “negatively” toward other community totals.
Come support Sarah Carson, Rachel Grollmes & James Nioce tomorrow at the First Friday Art Walk at Kaw Valley Bank in NOTO. Exhibits will include art from surrounding Topeka High Schools. Come anytime between 5:00-8:00pm.
Fall Athletic Buffer Week starts Monday, November 5th. There will be no athletic practice, off-season conditioning, informal basketball shooting, working out on wrestling mats, etc. in school owned facilities during the Fall Athletic Buffer Week. Gymnasiums will not be open outside of school hours.
Winter Sports Practice
Winter sports practices begin Monday, November 12th. If you plan on going out for a winter sport and have not been out for a fall sport you need to have a physical and concussion form turned in to Coach Taul before the first day of practice. These forms are in the office.
The football game this Friday is a playoff game and everyone must pay. Passes and School ID’s will not be accepted. Admission is Adults $6 and students $5.
