The Letter Jacket Man will be at Hayden on Wednesday, September 26 from 4:30 – 7:00 pm in the foyer.

 

Hayden’s Girls Golf finished 4th in the Washburn Rural Invitational. Caroline Setter finished 1st overall with a score of 77 and Katye Vausbinder finished 5th overall with an 87. Sarah Carson, Haley Karolevitz, Emma Teply and Jensen Heideman rounded off the team. Way to go Wildcats!

 

Congratulations to JV Girls Tennis for taking 2nd place in the Baldwin Tournament.

 

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Tennis team for taking 2nd in the City Tournament. Brooklyn Hunter took 1st in #1 singles, Rhen Calhoon took 2nd in #2 singles, Julia Hammes and Sara Comstock took 2nd in #1 doubles, and Allyson Meier and Jenny Voegeli took 3rd in #2 doubles. Way to go Lady Wildcats!

 

Fantastic finish for Hayden Debate at this weekend’s Emporia tournament. Jack Dunshee and Charlie Roeder placed second overall in the open division with an undefeated 5-0 record, while Rachel Grollmes and Alexa Scheer finished 3-2. In novice, Sean McConnell and Bob Francis emerged 1-4, for an overall squad tournament record of 9-6.

 

Reminder…the Spirit Store is open during each varsity home football game and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45-4:00 pm.

 

Congratulations to Marisol Marcelo for her outstanding accomplishment in the recent Kansas Music Teacher Association competition.

 

Marisol placed first in the category of Piano / Individual. She will now advance to the Regional level to be held in Kansas City.
