Friday, September 29 (A Day)

 

  • Pro-Life club is having a meeting TODAY right after school in room 310.  We will be discussing the March for Life.  If you plan to go, you must attend this meeting.

 

  • Today we celebrate the feast day of St. Michael, the patron saint of warriors. St Michael is the Saint chosen by House Sutton to represent their house. Today is also the feast day of St. Gabriel the Archangel. St Gabriel is the patron saint of messengers. St Gabriel is the Saint chosen by House Mrs. Noll, Happy Feast day!

 

  • The Hayden Black Box Improv Group will meet Monday, October 2nd from 6:30 – 8:00 in Wildcat Hall. All students are welcome to participate.

 

  • Remember to have your ID with you when you go to lunch.

 

  • Reminder to have money in your account to pay for those lunches.

 

  • Any young men interested in joining the St. Joseph of Arimathea Society please sign up with Mr. Dessert. There is an opportunity to serve as pall bearers this Saturday.

 

  • Juniors, Hayden is giving the PSAT test on Wednesday, October 11, 2017.  There are a few openings if you would like to take the test to see if you qualify to become a National Merit Scholar or a commended National Merit scholar.  You need to sign up with Mrs. Blanchette along with a fee of $20.00.  Sophomores, you are able to take the test but it will only be a practice test for when you take it as a junior.

 

  • There will be a meeting for any girls that are going out for softball this Thursday, October 5th, immediately after school. The meeting will be held in the Computer Lab and will be very brief. If you are planning to play softball, you need to be there.

 

  • Congratulations to the Girls Golf Team. They finished third in the Hutchinson invitational. They were 3 strokes behind 1st place Wichita Trinity and 1 stroke behind 2nd place Manhattan. Caroline Setter placed 5th with a 77, Samantha Blenden was 7th with a 81, and Katye Vausbinder was 14th with an 88. Sarah Carson, Sydney Blenden and Maeve McInerney rounded out the team.

 

  • Thursday, October 5th, is Picture Retake Day. ALL students who have NOT had their picture taken will need to do so this day so we can capture your photo for your Student ID and the yearbook. This is very important! You may also have your picture retaken this day if you wish to do so. Please wear your school uniform.

 

  • There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, October 2nd, due to School of Faith/Inservice.

 

  • Thank you to everyone who participated in our gold out for pediatric cancer awareness…we were able to contribute more than $265 to the Miracle from Mia scholarship fund at Hayden.
