The celebration of the Sacraments are paramount to the Catholic faith, and as such are an important part of the education at Hayden Catholic High School.
Under the direction of the school’s Chaplain, Fr. Carter Zielinski and with the support of the region’s priests, Hayden Catholic High School offers the following Sacraments:
Mass is offered Wednesdays and Fridays at 1:00 PM in the Chapel. During the football season, Friday Mass is also celebrated at 3:15 PM. Unfortunately, because of COVID restrictions, we will not be able to celebrate all together as a Hayden community. We will have opportunities to gather for Mass in smaller groups throughout the year.
In a typical year we would welcome parents and alumni to attend school’s liturgies; however, because of COVID restrictions we cannot extend the invitation this year.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered anytime by scheduling an appointment with Fr. Zielinski. Additionally, a school-wide penance service is offered during Advent and Lent.
The Rosary is offered every Tuesday and Thursday in the Chapel at 7:25 AM.
Eucharistic Adoration is offered weekly on Friday during ON SITE schedule and in the mornings from 7:50 AM - 12 PM on Wednesdays and Fridays during the HYBRID scheduled weeks. The entire school celebrates Adoration with Archbishop Naumann every Spring.
ANOINTING OF THE SICK
Any student or alumni in need of anointing is welcome to contact Fr. Zielinski to schedule the Sacrament.
