Friday, November 22 – B Day

The Letter Jacket Man will be in the cafeteria Monday from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. 

 

There will be a Track & Field meeting at 7:15 am in the cafeteria on Tuesday, November 26. This meeting is for non-winter sport athletes. We will go over what workouts you can start during the off season.

 

There is no study hall today after school.

 

FBLA will meet on Monday, November 25, after school to work on our community service project.  Meet in Room 102.

 

Any boys interested in swimming are invited to contact Mrs. Porras at brookeporras@yahoo.com or come to the next swim practice on Monday, November 25 at 3:30 pm at Hummer Natatorium.

 

There will be a meeting in the cafeteria immediately after school on Tuesday, November 26 for all students interested in bowling.

Best of luck to our Hayden Cheer Team on Saturday at the Game Day Spirit Showcase at the Topeka Expo Center. Come cheer on our Wildcats as they compete at 9:54 am, 11:30 am and 1:06 pm. Wednesday, November 20 – B Day

Acting auditions for the Hayden Theater winter musical “Bye Bye Birdie” will be held today from 3:30 to 5:00 in the Black Box Theater in Wildcat Hall. Dance auditions will take place on Thursday from 3:30 to 5:00. All students are invited and encouraged to audition for this production which will be presented in February. Students who went to the singing audition must come to these auditions as well. Contact Mr. Rad with any questions you may have.

Hayden competed in the Washburn University Math Day and earned FIRST place in the 4A Division! The top 3 scores are combined to determine the team that wins. Our top scores were earned by Gary Wang, Graidy Nichol and James Gillin. Grady Nichol tied for 4th place for the non-seniors and Gary Wang took 4th place for the senior category! Way to go Wildcats!

 

The Sacrament of Confession will be held in the Chapel today, during advisory, following announcements. All are welcome!

Winter sports practices begin today. All physicals must be turned into Mr. Taul before you can practice.

Thank you, Hayden!!!  Because of your generosity, we were able to raise over $1000 for our adopted Christmas families with the pancake feed and jeans day…student council thanks all who participated and a special shout out to the cafeteria crew for cooking up our pancakes.

Congratulations to Sydney Hillmer for signing to play volleyball at Pitt State next year and to Halle Jackson for signing to play volleyball with the University of Northern Texas! Way to go Sydney & Halle!

Wednesday, November 13 – A Day

All students participating in a Winter Sport must have physicals turned in to Mr. Taul before the first day of practice on Monday, November 18th. Physicals can be found on the website or in the school office.

 

Girls basketball practice will be immediately after school all next week. 

 

All boys interested in basketball, but not playing a fall sport, are invited to attend a meeting after school today in the gym with Coach Head.

Fall buffer week begins today through Friday. Facilities will be off limits through Sunday, November 17th. KSHSAA rules.

Congratulations to Trinity Abril, Tim Choi, Abby Ferrell, Lauren Harmon, Audrey Kuta, Isaac Mead, Nic Quaney and Ella Widen who auditioned and were chosen to be part of the Northeast District Choir. They will work with a clinician on Saturday, December 7th at Topeka High School. Congratulations Wildcats!!
