Hayden Debate Update! Last weekend the teams of Burroughs/Scheer and Tanking/Herrera competed in the Fort Scott Invitational. Burroughs/Scheer placed 6th with a 3-1 record in the Open division.  Tanking/Herrera a sophomore pair competed in Open for the first time in their debate careers and learned some valuable lessons throughout the tournament. This weekend Pryor/McConnell will compete in the Debate Coaches Invitational tournament at Olathe Northwest, joining them will be sophomore pair Gregg/Charvat in JV.

Thursday, October 1: Mass Attire – Today is the celebration of our homecoming liturgy. Look sharp and be sharp in your pants, white shirts, ties and belts, and the approved jackets.

Congratulations to our debate team! Sean McConnell and Marcel Pryor attended the Washburn Rural season opener on Friday and Saturday last weekend. The pair placed 3rd with a 5-1 record. Marcel also won a speaker award placing 6th out of 50 speakers. Kudos to them for being the first members of our squad to navigate the world of virtual debate this season!
